Brenda has been with Falls Presbyterian Church since 1998, serving as the Director of our music ministry, leading the Choir, and playing the Organ / Piano.

 

A native of Louisiana, she received her B.M.E. from Southern Methodist University in 1973 and her M.M.E. from Louisiana State University in 1976. After moving to Pennsylvania in 1980 she completed her M.Ed at Chestnut Hill College in 1997. In addition to being our Musical Director, Brenda spends her days as a teacher of music in the Philadelphia School System. Each year Brenda directs our Choir with their annual Christmas Concert in December, featuring inspirational music. Brenda further enhances our year by directing our Choir in the annual Strawberry Festival, complete with popular favorites including show tunes. Brenda thoroughtly "loves being at Falls" and "feels blessed to be a part of the music ministry here". With all Brenda's accomplishments, her first love is as a devoted wife and mother of two children.
